ABOUT ALLENS
We now have five solicitors and one trainee, a legal executive and trainee, a Paralegal and eleven supporting staff. Each of our fee earners and Partners concentrates on a particular area of law - conveyancing, will-making, administering estates and trusts, divorces and advising charities. We are particularly pleased that various members of the firm have recently qualified as members of the Association of Solicitors for Care of the Elderly.

STRENGTHS
We deploy our Fee Earners to suit the needs (and pockets!) of our clients.

We have considerable expertise in helping and advising our clients together with the local knowledge built up from years of experience. It also helps that we have stayed in the same building since 1919!. We have helped families for generations. One recent client was the fourth generation of her family to instruct Allens and this gives us great pride and pleasure. There is a wealth of experience amongst our Fee Earners and because of their specialisation, work which might take longer and therefore cost more elsewhere can be speedily and efficiently dealt with. We have strong connections within the local community. We will not take on work outside our specialist areas.

Allens attempt to offer a kindness and professionalism, delivered in a friendly way, which perhaps harks back to solicitors firms as they once were, while delivering twenty-first century advice and services. Other firms have moved out of the locality and indeed off Portsea Island: but Allen's slogan is "Other firms have gone, we are still here!"
